Zen Wu Replacement Plane Blades (Suits Bailey type planes)

These plane irons from Zen-Wu are sure to supercharge any Bailey style plane.

These blades are set apart by their steel, which offers an unrivalled combination of edge retention, toughness and sharpenability.  This steel is laminated onto a body of either soft iron or titanium which helps reduce chatter by dampening vibrations. Another benefit of the lamination is that sharpening by hand  is quick and easy without the need of adding a microbevel. The result is a plane iron which offers unmatched feedback, sharpenability, edge retention and toughness. 

For the best possible feedback and finest shavings we recommend the Titanium based version and for general use the Iron based version. 

Like all Zen Wu products these blades have been flattened and come razor sharp ready to be put to use straight away. The chipbreakers also come pre fitted and a handy keychain driver is included for tightening and removing the chipbreaker.
