Inspired by age old designs this Japanese Style plane utilises ZW-V1 steel for the cutting edge laminated onto titanium alloy for easy sharpening and a long lasting razor sharp edge.
The dai is made from old growth red lead bamboo oak, a rare wood which provides the optimal properties for plane performance. The dai is treated meticulously over a 3month period to ensure stability and is vacuum sealed.
