Forged by Master Blacksmith Shinsui Nakaya in Sanjo, Niigata Prefecture, this Ryoba represents the pinnacle of Japanese pull saws. Hand forged and sharpened using White steel this saw will leave a wonderfully clean cut. Treated properly this saw will last a lifetime and with care and skill can be resharpened.
Note: White paper steel is brittle and can break if misused. Like any Japanese style saw do not force the cut or place downwards pressure on the blade. If you are new to Japanese saws we suggest starting off with Nakaya's oni-katana range.
