The Ryoba is a carpenters staple saw. Suitable for a wide range of applications from rough cuts through to joinery. Like all Ryoba saws one side is set for rip cutting with the other set for crosscuts. If you are only going to invest in one saw this is it!
The tooth profile and offset on these particular saw have been designed specifically for use on hardwood. We have tested this saw extensively on spotted gum and blackwood and it has gone through both like butter.
Hand finished and hardened in Miki, Japan, Hishika saws are professional grade saws widely used by carpenters and furniture makers in Japan. They are a cut above saws from Nakaya, Zetsaw and Suizan. Hishika saws can be resharpened providing a lifetime of use.
