Hand finished and hardened in Miki, Japan, Hishika saws are professional grade saws widely used by carpenters and furniture makers in Japan. They are a cut above saws from Nakaya, Zetsaw and Suizan. Hishika saws can be resharpened providing a lifetime of use.
The Azebiki is an incredibly versatile saw. Capable of starting cuts in the centre of a workpiece it is the perfect tool for blind joints, sliding dovetails, and groves.
Each side has a different tooth profile. One for rip cuts and the other for cross cutting.
