These beautiful Oire Nomi from Sukekura are perfect for applications requiring the sharpest of blades. Traditionally forged these chisels feature White Paper Steel #1 edges which take an unmatched edge. Compared to the more commonly used White Paper #2, White Paper #1 is slightly harder with a finer grain structure.
As with all Japanese chisels please avoid rocking the chisel back and forward as this can damage the hard layer of steel.
